Today’s Saturday Student Shout Out Is With A Difference
This week we would like to congratulate Jonathan Gywer of fairlymarvellous.co.uk and award him with the Allen & Walden Honorary Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Complementary Therapies in recognition of his outstanding contributions to our Industry.🏆
To explain…we have been working with Jonathan for over 3 years now and he designs and maintains the Allen and Walden website and any accounts linked to this. He is our mentor advisor in all things “Geek”. A valuable team member often getting us out of an IT pickle when he is holidaying away with his family.
Jonathan has earned his badge as a Beauty Therapist and Complementary Therapist over the years as he not only runs our website but many other Beauty and Holistic business websites too. He has been an invaluable source of advice and support for our students starting their business for the first time as he too knows what it is like to make that lifestyle choice of a complete career change and starting a business from scratch.
Jonathan launched fairly marvellous in 2011. After spending years in the corporate world, like many of our students featured in our weekly “shout outs” Jonathan had that eureka moment where he knew there had to be more to life than the treadmill of corporate life and long commutes to work.
Starting his own business has not been a walk in the park, but his strong work ethic, incredible IT skills combined with his natural creativity has paid off. Jonathan can now work from home in the lovely seaside town of Whitstable. Work can be fitted around school runs and he is able to spend more time with his family. His office companion is his lovely little dog Gizzy who ensures he stays both physically and mentally on form by taking Jonathan for regular walkies to exercise his body and clear his head. 🏃♂️
Fairly marvellous website development and support are in our opinion actually Bloody Marvellous but we agree it is very fairly priced. Jonathan’s natural empathy with our student’s start-up businesses makes all the difference. Consultations are free and if you happen to visit the fairly marvellous hub on a Friday afternoon you may even see his bar skills in action as he mixes you a cocktail. 🍹🍸
