Stone Massage Course-VTCT Level 3 unit
Our Hot Stone Massage course teaches you how to provide this very popular treatment, a wonderful form of Swedish massage with the strains traditionally placed on the therapist’s hands being eased by the use of therapeutic stones. This form of Swedish Massage incorporates the use of both hot and cold Basalt Lava stones. This massage works much deeper into the tissue than a conventional massage treatment and can stimulate the circulation and cell function of your clients, promoting the rate of tissue repair and stimulating the metabolism by 10-15%. As well as the physical benefits of this treatment, the spiritual side of stone massage plays an important part for many therapists and clients. You will learn how to use stone massage to re-balance the energy between the body’s chakras, thus eliminating negative energy. This form of stone massage induces physical relaxation and mental balance this is why it is such a popular with treatment with clients and therapists. Successful completion of our NVQ/VRQ stone massage course will enable you to insure with any company. If your aim is to work in the industry either in a salon, spa or run your own business and maybe one day even teach stone massage this course is fully recognised in all areas. We are a nationally accredited independent private college. We are not to be confused with salons/home-based training where you will be issued with a certificate that is insurable with one company and not recognised in the national government framework of qualifications (QCF) .
