Micro Dermabrasion Course-VTCT Level
VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Microdermabrasion (MDA) is a non-surgical method of skin rejuvenation by means of mechanical skin exfoliation and offers a modern, virtually painless alternative to chemical laser peels. There are two types of MDA, the diamond head machine which is a gentle but effective method, causing very little aggravation to the skin, or the crystal machine, using aluminium oxide crystals combined with vacuum suction. It is a versatile procedure that can be combined with other treatments to help achieve the desired results. Following the treatment, clients will immediately notice their skin is smoother and younger-looking. It is also great for treating the following skin conditions:-
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sun-damaged skin
- Improving the appearance of scar tissue post-injury and post-acne
- Superficial age spots and hyper-pigmentation
- Oily, dry or patchy skin
- Improving the appearance of cellulite
- Improving the appearance of stretch marks
During the course you will learn both types of machine, the diamond head machine, and also the crystal machine.
Facial qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent) The VTCT Mandatory Infection prevention (COVID-19) free course is a pre requisite to this qualification but there is an additional cost of £20 certificate fee This has to be done only once and covers you for future VTCT qualifications.
