Intimate Waxing Course-VTCT Level 3 Female intimate waxing
VTCT Level 3 unit Provide Female intimate waxing services On our intimate waxing course the groups are female only. This qualification is suitable for therapists who wish to learn how to remove hair from intimate areas using both hot and warm wax. There are many qualified therapists who have experience in using warm wax but little experience in hot wax. Our Intimate Waxing course will teach you to be skilled in the use of both hot and warm wax. Hot wax has the advantage of only gripping the hair and not the skin. In our training on bikini waxing, we cover the main 3 types – Playboy, Brazilian and Hollywood. Before the treatment even begins we emphasize and spend time on the importance of consultation, contra-indications and hygiene. In particular, during the consultation, the therapist needs to offer ‘progressive’ hair removal for the first time client. Next, we cover all aspects of preparing the area, performing the treatment and aftercare. The student will really benefit from an experienced lecturer in hair removal because they will be able to pass on their experience on how to achieve great results whilst minimising the pain, which ultimately will lead to a loyal client following. This course runs with a maximum of four we do run even with only one in the class but you will need to provide a model.
Candidates will be assessed on both practical skills and theoretical knowledge throughout the intimate waxing course and will need to produce a portfolio of evidence supporting competence. You will be required to practice at home before returning for assessment.
The VTCT Mandatory Infection prevention (COVID-19) free course is a pre requisite to this qualification but there is an additional cost of £20 certificate fee This has to be done only once and covers you for future VTCT qualifications. You need to have a recognised level 2 qualification in waxing plus experience and good general waxing skills
