Micro Dermabrasion

Beauty Courses
from Allen & Walden, Kent College of Beauty Therapy

Microdermabrasion (MDA) is a non-surgical method of skin rejuvenation by means of mechanical skin exfoliation and offers a modern, virtually painless alternative to chemical laser peels.
There are two types of MDA, the diamond head machine which is a gentle but effective method, causing very little aggravation to the skin, or the crystal machine, using aluminium oxide crystals combined with vacuum suction. It is a versatile procedure that can be combined with other treatments to help achieve the desired results. Following the treatment, clients will immediately notice their skin is smoother and younger looking.

It is also great for treating the following skin conditions:-

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damaged skin
  • Improving the appearance of scar tissue post injury and post acne
  • Superficial age spots and hyper-pigmentation
  • Oily, dry or patchy skin
  • Improving the appearance of cellulite
  • Improving the appearance of stretch marks
