We are still open for business but in a different way
- Many have continued their studies with us taking advantage of this time to knuckle down and get all their theory work done.
- We have continued to take new course bookings and have run online courses, Facebook and zoom teaching sessions
- We are offering 20% discount on new courses booked during lockdown with a future start date
- Email us with any course enquiries and we can give you further course information.
The government’s recent announcement has put hairdresser, beauty therapists, massage therapists, lash and Nail techs whether mobile, home-based or salon-based into Phase Three of businesses to reopen. We are in the same phase as hospitality.
This is to protect both the public and us from infection and keep the whole community safe.
This means the earliest we can get back to hands-on treatment will be early July.
We ask all Therapists and clients alike to be patient. If we stick to the government guidelines and measures put in place now we will be able to open and start to see clients again in July.
Breaking these guidelines could put us back further as lockdown would be extended further if infection levels start to rise again.
We have all come this far so let’s continue to stay safe.
We have put together a very comprehensive infection control course that all our students past and present have access too and on completion get a certificate to display in their workplace.
Anyone that has trained with us will already have excellent hygiene standards so these extra precautions will just enforce what they already do.
Any therapists operating before July are breaking not just the law but industry codes of practice and ethics. They are not insured and they obviously do not care about your safety.
As a college that trains Therapists, we will continue to uphold the government guidelines and industry codes of practice and lead by example.
Many of our courses are able to continue during lockdown, covering all the theory as guided home study.
We have very large rooms so can start to allow students to attend next month, on a one to one basis for online tests and portfolio work as we can easily social distance and have a stringent hygiene protocol and all PPE.
Sadly we will not be taking any clients for our students when we reopen as we will be very cautious and limiting the number of people at any one time on our premises.
We thank everyone for doing their bit to stay safe and save the NHS during this Covid-19 pandemic.
We understand many of you are desperate to have your hair, nails, lashes etc done by your usual Therapist but we ask you to remain patient, don’t break the rules and to support your Therapists when they are safely able to reopen.
Don’t be tempted to use another therapist, lash or nail tech that is breaking these lockdown rules. They are risking your health and that of the local community!
We very much look forward to seeing you all again soon when it is safe to do so.
