Waxing is the temporary removal of superfluous hair, which is achieved professionally by the use of different types of wax. Waxing is one of the most popular salon treatments for which clients return every four to six weeks. The waxing course covers all areas of face and body waxing (including leg waxing, bikini waxing, underarms, facial hair, eyebrow wax) and you will also be introduced to Hot Waxing techniques (hard wax).
Course Entry Requirements: No prior experience is required.
Level 2 NVQ Waxing course includes:
- Health & Safety
- Anatomy and physiology
- Client care and consultation
- Providing waxing treatments
Method of assessment: Candidates will be assessed on both practical skills and theoretical knowledge throughout the waxing course and will need to produce a portfolio of evidence supporting competence. You will be required to practice at home before returning for assessment.

* Exam fees £16 VTCT lifetime registration £31 for certificate & exam fees.
Deposit of £100 confirms place on course, balance to be paid 28 days prior to start date.
