Complementary Therapy Courses

Complementary therapies are those concerned with treating the whole person rather than one specific aspect. This qualification includes body massage, aromatherapy and reflexology.

Course entry requirements: A good basic level of education and interpersonal skills

  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Prepare for and provide body massage
  • Assess the client and blend oils for Aromatherapy
  • Provide Aromatherapy
  • Prepare for and provide reflexology
  • Use interpersonal skills with therapy clients
  • Assess the client for Holistic treatments
  • Massage Techniques

Method of assessment: Candidates will be assessed on both practical skills and theoretical knowledge throughout the course and will need to produce a portfolio of evidence supporting competence. You will be required to complete case studies at home.

Registration Fees: VTCT Lifetime registration fee £16 and £110 certificate and assessment book fee.
