This qualification is suitable for those employed in Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing and or for those who wish to acquire the expertise on its own. Facials this is about improving and maintaining skin conditions using a variety of techniques. These treatments include skin exfoliation, skin warming, extraction, facial massage, mask treatments and the use of facial products.

Course Entry Requirements: No prior experience is required.

Level 2 NVQ Facial Treatments course includes:

• Four 3 hour sessions
• Health & Safety
• Anatomy and physiology
• Client care and consultation
• Providing facial treatments

Method of assessment: Candidates will be assessed on both practical skills and theoretical knowledge throughout the facial treatments course and will need to produce a portfolio of evidence supporting competence. You will be required to practice at home before returning for assessment.
